I’m back!! Well actually I’m not, the house is finished I’ve gained and left and gained jobs, I’ve lost a friend, I am a new person, it’s been a long year!
I have just re-read my about page and it’s good it’s full of optimism and motivation. Shortly after writing this I returned to work to an isolated part of my old company where I had dear friends but the new company was a place that I didn’t fit. So I searched around and joined a new company and now am finding my place again. It’s been a long year.
I also lost a friend. She had been ill for a long time, since she was born and with symptoms since we were 9 but she was so so full of life that it felt that light would never go out and then it did. And now my world has just a few more shadows.
My 5 month old is now 19 months and full of sunshine (and occasional rage)!
It is the start of autumn, my favourite time of year and a friend has just found this photo. It is perfect. It’s a new season I am ready to let go of the parts of the past that no longer serve me and live the lessons that I have learnt in what has been a very long year!
